I'm going to try to add some song notes that folks might find useful.  Let me know what you think!

Jim, I know we have never met, but I feel as if we have been travelling in similar circles with the CMC and Pete Govert destined to be the intersection -- thanks so much for posting these extra chords in the pieces, just looking at Down by the River reveals that the whole song is so much more than just the two chords posted on the song list, please keep it up -- learning a lot -- peace, George Geysen
You're more than welcome. I may post a few others I've worked on when I get a chance. At some point, we need to do a jam session. I've got one today at 1:00 at my house (Sunday 10/10), but I don't know how to get you other than this forum. If you see this in time, feel free to join us. As I recall, you are a drummer? We've got a full set here- so you'd be ready to rock!

Jim:

Digging the idea of jamming with you and whomever else on a Sunday -- I have played with Pete and Barry for a few years, but things have slowed down for us for a lot of reasons and I am always looking for more opportunities to play music. That was a primary reason I started playing guitar -- frustration and a love of music, melody and singing (with Pete and Barry, I sang a lot of lead and some background). I have a Martin (with built in pickup) and an Ibanez hollow body. Two smaller amps, both Fenders. I have a set of drums.

So, yeah, I'd really be down with playing drums, jamming, but also singing straight up lead, doing some acoustic stuff. harmonies, etc. Pete can (or maybe has) filled you in. I have done a few solo acoustic guitar open mics in Berlin at the Pine Loft and also at June's Outback in Killingworth.

Personal email is drggeysen@gmail.com (I am a shrink, but don't make house calls!!!), cell phone is (860) 944-1079 and home is (860) 663-9993. I live in Killingworth, but went to school in Moodus and know East Haddam well. My mom and two sisters live there.

Definitely let's get in touch, let me know when you are jamming again and I'd really like getting down to get down!!

Peace, George
